Yeah this was pretty neat. rushdesign: We didn’t make this, but we totally could have, and it was super-cool. This is the wall in the lobby of the place we went to pick up the new wildly over-powered vacuum pump for the CNC router’s vacuum table today (in the flower district, oddly enough- 145 W28th St. in Manhattan). What you are looking at is dozens of pieces of edge-grain plywood, cut and then laminated together to approximate ripples in water. The photo probably doesn’t do it justice- it looks amazing in person.
